GUACAMOLE RECIPE

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Peel and deseed your avocados. I cut mine in half, deseed, then scoop it all out with a spoon.
  2. Mash your avocados in a bowl with the sour cream and then set aside.
  3. Chop your shallot into little squares and then add to the bowl.
  4. Cut your tomato in half and then finely chop and add to bowl. If you’re a fan of tomatoes, use the entire thing!
  5. Finely chop cilantro, I use A LOT because I’m obsessed with it. Mix this into your guac mixture.
  6. Add a generous amount of salt, pepper, and chili lime spice.
  7. Squeeze your lime into the mixture and then serve with your favorite tortilla chips!

MARGARITA RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • Trader Joe’s Organic Jalapeño Limeade OR any limeade + some jalapeño juice or pieces.

  • 1 Lime

  • 1800 Coconut Tequila or your favorite tequila

  • Orange Juice or Orange Sparkling Water

  • Tajín or Trade Joe’s Chili Lime Spice

INSTRUCTIONS

These are all very much guesstimated. You can most definitely tweak accordingly. I do a lot of taste testing! This recipe is for TWO margs.

  1. Cut lime in half and then cut one half in half again. Then rim the glasses with the lime. We want the spice to stick!

  2. Grab a plate a spread out the Tajín or Trade Joe’s Chili Lime Spice.

  3. Place glasses in the spice and make sure it’s all even on the rim then place to the side.

  4. Blend together 2 cups of the jalapeño limeade, 2 shots of tequila, a splash of OJ or orange sparkling water, handful of ice cubes, and half a lime.

  5. Again, do a taste test and make sure it’s how you like it. Once you’re good with the flavor, fill those glasses up with ice and then pour the mixture over.

*I like my marg on the rocks but you could totally make it frozen by adding more ice when you blend.

These are perfect for a taco Tuesday app or to celebrate the weekend on a Friday night!

Love always,
